We set out for a ride to explore town today. We're camping on Stock Island which is 1500 feet from Key West and a five mile ride to the south side of town and the historic area. The bike path on the west side of town is like playing in traffic so we toured through the neighborhoods until we circled town and hit the decent bike paths. We stopped at a little neighborhood Cuban spot for lunch and had really good roasted pork, plantains, beans and rice and some conch chowder. It was mighty tasty and hit the spot.
