We loaded up the trikes and spent the afternoon exploring John Prince Park. The park is loaded with Mottled Duck, Least Bittern, Wood Stork, Limpkin, Purple Gallinule, Sandhill Crane, Florida Scrub-Jay, Magnificent Frigatebirds, Roseate Spoonbill, Swallowtailed Kite, Least Tern, Chuck-will’s-widow, Peregrine Falcon, Ibis, Pelicans, Anhinga, American Coot, Boat-Tailed Grackle, Cattle Egrets and Great Egrets, Little Blue Herons and Great Herons. The park has a ten mile paved bike path and another forty of unpaved paths for hiking and biking. It's a jewel in the middle of Lake Worth and conveniently located two miles down the road.
