We struck out from Lantana this morning and wanted to stop in Titusville to check out the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. The refuge was established in 1963 and is 140,000 acres and has a variety of habitats. Our primary reason for visiting was to see manatees during their spring migration and we were not disappointed. We'll definitely come back another time when we have more time to explore.
